Were you expecting a "New Year, New Me" approach?
Good morning/Afternoon/hangover! It’s January 5th, which means I’m starting my first official work day in 2026
It sucks.
I’ve been trying to figure out which lane I want to be in for the new year and what my focus should be, and I think we’ve found some solutions.
Let’s start with the obvious
X Twitter has been absolutely abhorrent as a social media site. The hidden algorithm that works at random (and even got me my own personal blue checkmark for FREE) hasn’t been working as intended and definitely has slowed down tremendously. I know the site rewards engagement with more engagement, but getting the ball rolling never seems to come.
So instead, I’ve been more active on Instagram/YouTube/TikTok…with MUCH more success! Those sites seem to be working, so I’ll give some free game JUST THIS ONCE: make the change.
Now let’s talk Christyle Inc.
Without officially announcing anything, I’ll just say this:
Merch is coming this year
I’ve been soft launching a few pieces on Kickstarter and in person since the middle of last year, and found a lot of requests for more wearable merch, and lo and behold: It’s coming!
Expect some shirts, stickers, and <Redacted> in 2026!
And now for the innovation part!
2025 was the year I transformed myself for the better. I found discipline and made a life change that cleared a lot of brain fog I had been dealing with for the last few years. I highly recommend all creatives to instill some physical change among themselves to aid them in their work. It absolutely is worth it!
So with that being said: Let’s talk releases.
TNT! Supersisters! is the first Kickstarter campaign of 2026! It’s a physical-only campaign, meaning it has no digital versions of this comic (But the digital is free). If you’ve been around us for a while, you’ve seen this particular comic posted once or twice. It’s a personal comic book about my daughters as heroes. Highly recommend it if you’ve been collecting our comics, but it doesn’t follow along the same style as those.
There are at least two other books confirmed for this year as well. An untitled superhero action drama is being made, a first in Christyle Inc.'s history, and Good Blood Money #2. Dream Match Revolution #2 was the final book in 2025 and is currently in the last bits of production. I’m also looking at Braveheart Exile #2, but it may slide into 2027 if we get too far. It’s a toss-up at this point.
